More about Port Adriano
Located just to the southeast of Santa Ponsa in Southwest Mallorca, Port Adriano is a luxury marina with a sandy beach just to its side. Ten years ago, Port Adriano was but a small harbour. It had little to offer other than moorings for small and medium sized boats. However, with its prime Southwest Coast location, easy access and the ongoing transformation of surrounding area, it was inevitable that this would change.
More than 90 million Euros has been injected into an extensive revamp. The design team was led by Philippe Starck, one of the most accomplished and famous designers in the world. The objective was not just to significantly upgrade the marina, but also create a lifestyle destination encompassing select restaurants, bars and shops.
By 2012, Port Adriano had been transformed into one of the most advanced and contemporary marinas in the Mediterranean. It now offers 492 moorings of between 6m and 100m. Alongside are a wide range of luxury fashion shops, international and local restaurants and fashionable bars.
Perhaps the most outstanding feature is Port Adriano’s extensive calendar of events. Food Passion is just one of many food-related events. There are also concerts, yoga classes, evening parades and many other activities and entertainments. All this is intended to make the port a great destination not just for the yachting fraternity, but also for visitors and residents from all over Mallorca. If you need an excuse to visit – Food Passion might be just what you’re looking for!
