Mallorca is renowned for its beaches. The Northwest coast is the only region that does not have many choices as this is where the Traumantana mountains fall dramatically to the sea.

Other than this it is difficult to choose the "best", but here are a few outstanding beach resorts for those looking for a holiday home close to sand and sea.

≈ Cala d'Or: has several beaches and easy access to many other lovely "calas" dotted along the Southeast Coast.

≈ Puerto de Pollensa: has a super long sandy beach overlooking the wonderful Bay of Pollensa. It is not far also to some stunning, white sand beaches along the Northeast Coast.
