Son Serra de Marina and Colonia Sant Pere

Son Serra de Marina and Colonia Sant Pere are two unique small resorts on the southern part of the Bay of Alcudia. Being away from the main tourist track they are popular with locals for relaxed days on the beach.

It is an unspoilt coastline, much of which is protected. Son Serra de Marina is set on a long stretch of sandy beach backed by dunes. The town is mostly made up of modern townhouses and villas, but it is low key, with no high-rise properties, a few good restaurants and some very relaxed seafront bars.

Surrounded by dramatic mountains and nature reserves, Colonia Sant Pere lies a short distance to the west of Son Serra. It is a small, still-functioning, fishing town and harbour for leisure boats. More recently it has become a resort for people seeking a break that is truly “away from it all”.

Other popular locations close by include Cala Ratjada, Capdepera and Alcudia. The main town from here is Arta which is 10 to 15 minutes drive away.
