The North Coast of Mallorca offers beautiful mountain and coastal scenery. The Tramuntanas reach their highest point, then drop down to the sea and the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia, with their fabulous long sandy beaches.

There are also some notable old-towns, the most famous being Pollensa just a few minutes inland from the port.

This mix of old and new attracts holiday makers from many different countries. As well as being long-established as beach holiday destinations, North Mallorca has increasingly become known for walking and cycling breaks, water sports and boating. Puerto Pollensa and Puerto Alcudia both have good marinas and there are excellent sporting facilities, including the Pollensa and Alcanada golf courses.

Villa rental holidays are also very popular and the area is a prime place to own regular-use second homes and for permanent relocation.

International demand for properties reflects this mix of old and new. There are seaside apartments, coastal villas, old Mallorcan town and village houses and some very attractive country house properties.

The North Coast of Mallorca is easily accessible from Palma and the airport. Journey times by car vary from around 35-55 minutes depending on exact destination.
