The 2010 Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca took place last week. It proved to be another great event, mostly because the mountain roads of Mallorca are just about the best setting imaginable to see classic cars rallying, although the local mountain goats might not agree with that!
The event was just as well attended as last year although the Top Gear team were absent which sadly meant Jeremy Clarkson did not get barricaded in a portaloo in Magaluf this time round. More than 60 teams came from all over Europe running cars including some of the greats from Triumph, Jaguar, Renault, Mustang and Porsche.
Interestingly last years blog on the 2009 Rally Clasico Isla Mallorca is currently the 4th most popular of the 500+ blogs we have posted in the last year, so perhaps there is a correlation between Mallorca property seekers and appreciaters of classic cars. Sounds a bit tenuous admittedly, but if you want a country house in Mallorca with a large air-conditioned garage for your classic car collection we will certainly help!
