Sea views are one of the most popular and sought-after features for holiday homes in Mallorca. However the coastline is finite, and with strict planning regulations in force there are limited opportunities to build further sea view properties. Consequently sea views also command a premium, although the investment value of good sea view properties is pretty much assured as the demand is set to continue increasing over time.

What constitutes a “good” sea view property seems to vary from agent to agent. For some a glimpse of the sea in the distance whilst craning your neck out of a window qualifies. In our book – a good sea view property is one where there are decent sea views from at least one area of the property is easy to access and is regularly used – it could be the garden, a terrace, or indeed any of the main rooms in the house.
