Puerto de Pollensa

Puerto de Pollensa is the main town on Mallorca's north coast and sits in the Bay of Pollensa on the northern tip of the Traumantana Mountains. To the north of the bay lies the Serra de Cornavaques which is a much smaller mountain range that extends out onto the peninsula of Cap Formentor, the northern tip of Mallorca.

Puerto de Pollensa is a popular and sought-after area with UK buyers. Its harbour is a popular destination for boating enthusiasts and it features a fabulous long sandy beach.

With a mixture of old and new properties, beautiful countryside and coastline, and a wide variety of activities and pastimes this is a great area both for holiday homes and also in which to live permanently. Furthermore, journey time from Palma and the airport is now around 45 minutes drive.

Properties in the Port are mostly community apartments and villas or townhouses. There is quite a range in style from older holiday villas to ultra-contemporary properties. This is a sought after area and one of the best property investment locations in Mallorca. Prices are in the upper range but still not as high as the better parts of the south west coast such as Puerto de Andratx. At the same time many people would argue that it offers better value for money.
