Portocolom

Portocolom is a very attractive and distinguished fishing harbour and holiday destination on the east coast of Mallorca. It used also to act as the port for Felanitx which is a short distance inland and is the main town in this area. Portocolom has a great natural harbour and is known for its fish restaurants and there is a definite Spanish feel to the town.

There are several sides to Portocolom: fishing harbour, Spanish resort, and more international community developments of apartments and townhouses just outside of the town. The character has been retained though and a townhouse in Portocolom is a sought-after property. It is also possible to buy coastal villas, and country finca properties in the surrounding countryside. Prices of properties in the town are relatively high for the East coast and the countryside in the immediate area is also slightly more expensive due to the desirability of being close to Portocolom. There is a great range in style and type of property though so prices vary accordingly.
