Port Adriano is a marina bordering "New Santa Ponsa", an area made up largely of high-quality community developments. Port Adriano now has planning permission to extend the marina and cater for large luxury super-yachts. This will no doubt push prices up significantly as up-market shops and restaurants move into the area. The area also has ready access to a number of golf courses including Santa Ponsa Golf and the Santa Ponsa Golf Club, which has a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities beyond just golf. The area is easily accessible from Palma and the airport, and is just a short drive away from "old" Santa Ponsa. It is not much further to other south west coast resorts such as Andratx Old Town, Camp de Mar, Bendinat and Illetas.
